How you can handle a customer whose VivoFit has been lost? [06/06/2014]
Process:
1. Confirm that the customer can provide proof of purchase (This is a requirement to verify that a VivoFit was owned previously)
2. Inform customer that as a onetime courtesy their VivoFit can be replaced for $74.00 AUD or $79.00 NZD which is a onetime offer only.
3. If customer would like to take advantage of this option: 1.Obtain proof of purchase from customer
2. Mark lost VivoFit as stolen in My Garmin Admin by obtaining a serial number of lost device. ( Stolen devices will have to be flagged in my admin by Tier 2 agent )
3. Provide customer with instructions for removing the VivoFit from Garmin Express and Garmin Connect
4. Create a case in CRM for a new VivoFit and process a payment via Westpac payway for $99AUD ( Australia ) or $119NZD ( New Zealand )
5. Notate in the customer's case that he took advantage of the offer.
This process will provide the customer with a replacement VivoFit at a reduced cost.

Edge 1000 Touchscreen Locked issue [06/03/2014]
Screen locking at the moment may be impacted due to the moisture of sweaty hands, for your records this feature is supposed to help with false touches when moisture such as rain or sweat hit the screen. The issue is that the feature is inadvertently engaging itself without the presence of moisture. This issue for the most part should only occur when someone is handling the device in their hands and should not occur very often if at all when out on a ride.
If you receive a phone call or email from a customer please let them know that we are working on this issue and that a software update will come out sometime in the first half of June to improve things a bit.
A workaround to this issue should the screen display the "Touchscreen locked" message is to press the power button for about a second and then select the "Unlock screen" option at the top.
